FAQ
First, you’ll need to speak with a Solar All Over representative. They will need to see a copy of your current utility bill. They will design a custom solar solution for your property. After your custom solution is decided upon and becomes finalized, Titan, our installer, will install the system, connect it to the grid, and start your solar savings!
Installation timelines depend on the size of the system. Normally, an installation takes less than one day. A very large system can take up to two days.
Purchased systems can be relocated to your new home or you can include the system into your home’s value. If you elect to pay off the system, you can include this price in your listing price. Or the solar system’s remaining payments can be transferred to the new homeowner. Contact us if you have any questions.
Yes, however, where the energy is stored is dependent upon whether you choose to install a solar storage battery with your system. If your installation does include a storage battery, your excess energy will be sent there. If your system does not include a battery, excess energy produced will be sent to the utility grid until sundown. Whether you can or cannot have a battery depends on the laws in the city that you live. A general rule of thumb is that batteries of this nature are not allowed in suburban areas or on properties are situated on less than 3 acres of land.
Yes! They boost the value of your home by significant amounts! Recent reports show that solar panels can immediately add value to your home. Don’t take our word for it; According to Zillow.com your home’s value will go up by over 4% the moment they are installed! The best part of this equity increase, is that your property taxes will not increase. The feds have determined that if you increase your homes value by means of renewable energy, you won’t have to pay additional property taxes on that extra value!
As long as your roof has the room for additional panels. Contact Solar All Over and we can assist you!
Routine maintenance is the responsibility of the homeowner. It’s usually as simple as getting a hose and spraying them off. All of our systems come with 25 year maintenance warranties for worry-free ownership.
If the power goes out in your area, systems tied to the grid go out also. It is not safe to send power out to the grid where workers are attempting to fix a power outage problem. Weather conditions like rain and snow can affect system production, however, solar panels will continue to produce energy on a cloudy or foggy day.
Monocrystalline solar panels, the types of panels that we offer, are expected to last between 100-150 years! This means your investment now will pay itself off many times over!
Hail typically falls from the sky at around 120mph. These panels have had a machine shoot hail at them at over 260mph without leaving a crack or even a scratch. Hail has virtually no effect. If anything, the panels will protect your roof and increase its longevity, meaning less roof-replacements over the years. Check out this video of Solar World solar panels, which are the same type of panels that we offer to all our customers:
Solar energy is cheaper and more reliable than other energy alternatives in most corners around the globe. Along with many other advantages, there are many economic benefits of solar energy as well. Here are two of these benefits:
Incentives For Solar Energy By Government
This is one of the key economic benefits of solar energy. The Federal and most state governments offer incentives/encouragements to install solar panels because of the environmental benefits. These solar energy tax credits and incentives can also help you financially, including discounts on the cost of your solar system. Furthermore, government loans and repayments help cover upfront costs and make solar power extremely affordable for homeowners of all income.
Decreases Electricity Bills
Switching to solar energy is a great way for residential, commercial, and industrial customers to save money on their bills. Installing solar panels on your property allows you to generate your electricity, which theoretically gives you the opportunity to reduce your energy bill to zero. By producing your energy from the sun, you will ultimately buy less energy from the grid. This allows you to spend less money on purchasing power, which in turn saves you more money on your energy bills.
There are a few things to consider before choosing a solar generator for your home. At first, estimate the amount of power you need, depending upon the appliances you’ve to run with the generator. On the other hand, before investing in a new generator make sure to double-check the following features.
Maximum continuous power limit
Before opting for a solar generator make sure to check the maximum power the generator can provide in case of a power outage. Different generators have different power thresholds. Try investing in one with a long-lasting power limit.
Recharge time
the best solar power generator for the home should have the least possible charging time that can facilitate you in case of permanent damage to the power supply. The shorter it takes to charge, the longer it will perform.
Performance time without the sunlight:
Solar generators work very efficiently when there is sunlight, but a good solar power generator for the home should last long without the sunlight. The number of hours, the generator works without sunlight determines the performance and threshold level of the generator.
